Woke up and Ma said that there's a landslide at the bukit. Pa went down earlier, that's how we knew. We assumed it was a small landslide. Afterwards Ma went to see what had happened. At the site, she called me to tell me to cancel the hotel reservation for our holiday at Penang, and to make reservations at a hotel in KL instead. Ma came back, and showed us the pictures she took on the phone. Couldn't see much, but could see it was horrible. The only access road had been wrecked, there was no way to drive out of the bukit from our area, hence we couldn't drive to Penang. With no electricity at home, we couldn't go online, watch the news on tv, hear the news coverage on the radio.
Packed clothes for a few days, locked up the house, and made our way to Tropicana Villa Homes. A route through the jungle was made, and it being the only way out of the bukit there was no complaining. What an experience it was for me! I've never carried so much stuff before, and I've never been jungle trekking before.
Peter arrived soon after to pick us(Pa, Ma, Mary and I up) and we went to Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur where my brother Paul was.

On Sunday we went walking around at Pavilion after dinner. And then we played poker.
On Monday we decided to come back home to get more clothes before going over to granny's place where we planned to stay. On the way up, we found out that the electricity would be back that day in the evening. When we reached Puncak, Ma made tea and then we al went down again to get our stuff, then came back home. The dinner we collected at the Southern Heights Condominium on the way up. Provided by Concorde Hotel.

Much thanks to everyone who called/texted me to ask me how I am. I appreciate your concern :-) However, to L, I do not appreciate how you thought I didn't make it.
