I think I have a damn cool mum!!! Which 46 year old Peranakan talks like that to her son? Which 46 year old Asian woman would even use MSN? HOOOO!!! Most Peranakan women at 40 will always go to their sister's house, bring their mum along, make delicious Peranakan food thingies and talk and talk and talk in Nyonya and even their own children can't catch what they are saying. Nyonya is quite similar to Malay, but it's also very different. It's spoken damn freaking fast like Indonesian, and the words they use are like, errr, something that my siblings and I can never remember although our mum tells us how many times already.

momma can act younger than she actually is, but up to a certain limit la. whatever it is, mary and i always tell momma to not lebih-lebih and act as if she's TWENTY. but it's not tt she does act as if she's twenty. oh wtv
