mary and i lepaked at rlc in the evening, to do our homework. so last minute, no?
and of course, we ate
see the no smoking sign?? when i was a kid, and was still sitting in the high chair, i used to think that the sign meant no sitting. to me, the smoke looked like someone sitting. hahahahaha
pa and ma attended the new year's eve dinner at rlc, paul's back at sg, and so i spent the last few hours of 2006 with pete, jean and mary. had a feast at the buttery. after so much thinking, we finally decided to go to bukit bintang.
went to the revolving restaurant at federal hotel, but they wouldn't give us a seat. so they put us on the waiting list. we didn't want to walk all the way to the beginning of the jalan, and so we went next door, to the cafe royale at the royale bintang hotel.
at 11, we went back to the revolving restaurant, hoping that we will get seats, and we did!!
after the fireworks, we walked back to the car. on the way, we heard sirens blaring. then saw polis forensik. but we still didn't know what happened. walked some more, and then we saw a crowd near a dark alley. and so we went to. and the polis forensik van was nearby. tried to see what was happening, but the scene was much deeper in the dark alley. and so we continued back to the car. and then we saw a smaller crowd, and so we went to see what happened, and then i saw it: something lying on the road, with newspaper covering it. then we continued the journey. and then, we saw another crowd and the polis. and then, i saw another thing lying on the road, covered with newspapers, too. it's weird that we actually found these stuff cool. i guess it's because we've never seen a crime scene before??
and then we finally arrived at starhill, and met nata, her mummy and adiks. the great restroom adventure was next. peter found it so amusing that we met up with nata just to go to the restroom.
after the adventure, pete sent jean back home, and then we finally arrived back home.
